At the beginning of first lesson in first class of an elementary school
the teacher(ess - I mean 'she') says to the children:
"Kids, if any of you would like to say something, please raise your
 hand like this. (and she shows)
Then the Little Johnny (raises his hand).
 "Yes, Johnny. You wanted to say something?"
 "No ma'am I'm just checking if this system works"
