A man was on an out-of-town trip and ran out of cash. He took his
cheque book with him so he went to the bank and asked if they would
cash a cheque. They said, "No".

When he asked why, they said, "Because we don't know you".

He complained and said, "That's not fair, at home they won't cash my
cheques because they know me".
